Events across Ballarat and surrounding areas are growing, and we are always looking for fun and experienced people to join our team.

We are looking for people who possess high-level customer service, are available across nights and weekends, have a current RSA (for some roles), and are looking for occasional casual work alongside our fantastic team.

The roles we have to fill are around the events and wedding season.

Mainly September to April, from customer services, bar and wait service roles.

Offering variety and flexibility to work alongside your other employment.

About Troop Events

Troop Events is Ballarat’s only Hospitality and Events staff labour-hire company.

Troop Events and the staff we hire give entirely of themselves to make sure others are taken care of.

Our Client

Ballarat International Foto Biennale is a vibrant festival that brings prominent international and national photographers to Ballarat to exhibit their work. It provides an opportunity for both experienced and emerging artists to display their work in the Core and Open Program exhibitions and works to raise the profile of Australian photographers internationally. It has a great following of supporters who come to Ballarat for the event.

Employment

The employment will be on a casual basis, as required.

Role Purpose

To provide visitors with a warm, friendly and helpful welcome to the Biennale as the public face of the Biennale and ambassadors for BIFB as well as the broader Ballarat community.

Festival Dates:

28 August – 24 October 2021
9:30 am– 5 pm

Festival is open Monday’s through to Sunday’s – 7 days a week
